This policy explains how Solux Renewables handles personal data you provide through this website. It applies to enquiries submitted through our contact form, by email and by telephone.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, telephone number, company name where given, project location, the services you are interested in, your indicative budget and programme, your message, and any drawings or documents you choose to upload. We also record the page the enquiry came from.

Why we use it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, where you become a client, to deliver and support the works. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and performance of a contract where one is agreed.

Where it is stored

Enquiries and uploaded files are stored on secure managed cloud infrastructure within our supplier's hosting region, accessible only to Solux Renewables staff. Where our customer relationship management system is connected, contact details are also stored there.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months where no contract follows. Project records for completed works are retained for the period required by contract, warranty and statutory obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with suppliers and subcontractors where necessary to price or deliver your project, and with our hosting and CRM providers acting as processors on our instructions.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict our processing of it. Contact office@solux.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
